Festivals Policy notice

Please note that the Hirer alone is responsible for any damage caused to the rental vehicle, whether they are the driver or not. Our signed contract is only with the Hirer, and we ask that the Hirer pays particular attention to the following points and makes them known to the rest of the occupants.

  • First and foremost, if you are planning to go to any music festivals in any of our vehicles, you must inform us, this so we can make additional requirements available for the vehicle, as follows.

    • We must inform our insurer for festival use, otherwise you may not be correctly covered.

    • Yellow tread mats will be provided to enable you to park the front driven wheels on them, to help stop the vehicle getting stuck in soft or muddy ground and to help free the vehicle more easily after your stay if you are on a grass pitch.

    • The vehicles are all equipped with robust towing eyes and these and only these are to be used as a last resort when a tow from another vehicle is required. The towing eyes on all our vehicles are stored under the front passenger seats. The towing eye covers in the front bumpers are clearly visible and must be carefully removed to fit the towing eyes. Any damage caused to the vehicle when being towed will be deducted from your security deposit.

    • Please note all our vehicles have inbuilt trackers fitted, so please inform us at the very earliest opportunity in the event of the vehicle being stolen.

 

  • We are not responsible for any items stolen from or damage caused to the motorhome / camper during a break in within the contracted period. We strongly suggest you take out additional travel insurance cover.

  • The vehicles must be returned in a reasonably clean condition, failure to do so will result in an additional £100 cleaning charge being imposed. Should the vehicle be returned in such a condition that it is not possible to get it ready in time for the next rental, we may impose further charges.

  • We supply mattress protectors for the beds on all our vehicles and these must be used.

  • The vehicles are either 2 or 4 berths and this is the maximum that can sleep or drive in the vehicles, any more than this could void any insurance claim. In this instance the hirer may be responsible for paying for the full amount of damage.

  • The Elsen toilet tank must be cleaned and refreshed at least every 2 days and must be emptied and cleaned and left empty before the vehicle is returned, failure to do so would result in a £100 charge against the hirer.

  • All our vehicles are non-smoking, any evidence found of smoking in the vehicles will result in a £200 charge against the hirer.

Please note failure to look after the vehicle properly may result in additional charges to the hirer and also the following hirer losing their holiday booking because we cannot repair or clean the vehicle in time, so please treat the vehicle with the utmost respect. We want you to have the best possible time but not at the expense of the following hirer or ourselves.
